UC Davis and AMP Park were in a crisis — with hundreds of affiliates complaining about outdated interfaces, feeling unsafe inputting their credit card information, and being frustrated with a lack of flexibility. Our goal was to research user's frustrations and redesign AMP Park's interface to address these concerns.

I owned the onboarding flow design. I focused on solidifying trust between AMP Park and its users through transparent information and friendly illustrations. I also streamlined the parking purchase process by prompting account creation and for users to turn on location services.

We completely revamped the AMP Park design system to be increase accessibility and modernize according to UX design industry design standards..

We integrated Google Maps onto the platform, added displayed parking lot names, and allowed filters for parking zone types. These additions helped make the user experience intuitive and seamless.

We added secure payment options, such as Apple Pay and PayPal, to address user's concerns about giving their credit card information to AMP Park.

Increased personalization and flexibility by making it easy to add multiple payment and vehicle options, especially helpful for affiliates sharing family cars, and to set default payment options and vehicles. Users can also view their purchase history to repurchase the same parking pass.
